Yeah, I knew it has already been 8 days past and I am late to write this. Please do not blame me as I would like to put it down here but then the Internet just does not allow me to do so for the past few days.
2006 was great. Though there were some ups and downs, but on 31 December 2006, every thing changed and it just pushed me to the top of the world again. Why?
Hardsequence hold the main room in THE CARNIVAL @ Malacca. It was massive. I travelled down to Malacca with my animal family consists of rubber duckie aka Chrissie, llama llama aka Jon and myself, the goat. It was a great journey. We did not rush as we did last time. At least, he did not drive like a F1 driver. Thank God!!!!!
THE CARNIVAL pres. Hardsequence @ Malacca, 31 December 2006
We arrived at Malacca around 2.00pm and Roy and gangs were not there yet, so, we called Ken for our room's key. We went to the registration to check-in but there was some miscommunication or misunderstanding, which I could not get it done. So, we went back to Cowboy town to wait for Ken to get it sorted out for us. We got out key around 3.00pm and before we head to our so secluded bungalow (the last unit at the end of the road), we took a few pictures around cowboy. Thanks Chrissie for the lovely pictures.

Bout 4pm, every one arrived. Every one was so hyped up, Roy settings up the console for some early entertainment. The bungalow now filled up with crazy-party-animals, peoples every where in the house, noise started to fill up the quiet-bungalow, musics banging hard enough to feel like you were in a club only that it was bright. Not to be missed there was a lovely swimming pool behind our bungalow.
Few of us decided to dip ourselves inside the pool. The girls changed, and jumped into the pool while few of us still holding our can of beers and chatting around before being pulled into the pool to be soaked and wet. Trust me, the water was cold. We had a little swimming session before one after another taking turn to bath to get ready to P-A-R-T-A-Y.
Enjoying myself with a can of Carlsberg while dipping in the pool

At 8pm, every one already geared up and I could sensed the hype in every one's body. Not wasting much time, we rushed down to the venue. The party only started only at 9pm but we just could not find a reason to be there late. We wanted to be there early, to get the first taste of the mainroom, to step our foot inside the mainroom.
In the car, heading to the venue...say, "Cheez!!!"
Me and Chrissie started to set-up our Hardsequence merchandise booth. We had a little bit of hard time as there was no light but when there is a will, there is always a way. There was a small ciggarette booth nearby and we decided to steal some lights from there. We moved our booth next to them and we were now brightly lighted. Huge thanks to you guys!!!!
Hardsequence & Heatwave's merchandise
Once the clock strucked 9pm, DJ Nottifish started to take over the console pumping up some classic tunes to some hard-rawking beats. Every one started to move in and not long after that, it was packed with flashy-stylish-phats. Inch by inch, the dance floor was filled with the dancers and the ravers. As time past by, we started to get busy at the merchandise booth. Heatwave was there with us. Peoples started to check out the T-s, caps, phats, reflectors, etc. Slowly and slowly the merchandise was almost grabbed by the eager rawkers, who rawk up the place.
The Darkraverz took over the stage around 10pm and peoples started to get heated up and we decided to call it a day off for the merchandise and headed back to the bungalow to keep the stocks and headed back to the venue, just good enough as the watch already showing 1130pm. We stuffed ourselves with a few cans of beer and very soon, Ganjaguru took over and the main highlight for the night. Lots of flashes started to flash around me just like a superstar getting ready to sing his best song of the night.
60 minutes to 2007. The main screen behind the DJ console started to count. Every one started to cramp up the dance floor, not much spaces to move though, now that's what I called smelling armpits time. Haahaha...
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!"
Happy New Year!!!! Welcome 2007!!!!!
The crowd
Every one started to give each other a warm, friendly hugs, let them be friends, girlfriends, or strangers. Every one was lighted with a bright smile. We were jumping around and firecrackers started to light up the dark sky around us. Peoples started to take pictures again. For this moments, I just walked around and did the same. Hugged every one I knew or just any one. Smelly!!!!!!! LOL....
At 1am, the Bass Agents took over and brought every one to another level, pumping up their adrenaline with their hard-tumping tunes. Shufflers still shuffle, ravers still putting their hands up high in the sky. It was really a night, which I could not forget.
Around 3am, the party came to a stop but before it really ended, peoples shouting for more and the DJs again, without letting down every one, dropped down the last bass to hit 1 January 2007.
By now, every one was too tired to walk and just sat around the floor and re-energize. We took a bit of our time to get rested and cleaned up the venue. Of course, at every end of Hardsequence not to be missed, GROUP PHOTO!!!!! We just squeezed ourselves together to fit into the camera.
What is better than to end the night with a GROUP PHOTO!!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007!!!
